Photo cocktail: Shaken, not stirred. And frozen.

Here are some photos from another one of the recent assignments in a photojournalism class at Flagler College. The idea this time was to freeze and blur the action. J.D. Bray met that goal with his images of a woman on the bike.

Megan Rohlfing caught water in midair with this picture of a splash, above. Then she turned the camera on herself to shoot herself as she walked.

Nick Reiter turned in these two compelling macro shots. I like the simplicity of the images.

Nate Hill captured a Frisbee sailing across the campus at Flagler College.
Danae Stringfellow shot these two pictures at night. I like the chaotic feel to the photo of the man, above. Below, Danae managed to capture the sharp contrast of bright lights and night sky.

Rachel Bruce shot these last two shots. The photo of the pitcher is beautifully composed. Below, Rachel offered a colorful and creative view of a horse carriage in St. Augustine.
